Adorned by the sight of street vendors, humble cafes and carts of Bahn Mi, just like the rest of Vietnam, the colorful and buzzing street of Cô Giang is occasionally soaked by the drizzles of the temperamental daytime August rain.
As the sun goes into hiding, Cô Giang is illuminated by lightbulbs and headlights from endless dirt bikes passing through this section in District 1.
At night, the sight of small plastic chairs has become the iconic remnants of al fresco meals in the meters stretched Cô Giang street. A beautiful mayhem of street side barbecue smokes fights against the sound and sight of swooshing woks and bubbling cauldrons that would never fail to remind you of Pho.
